Frida Waara

Frida Waara is a storyteller about the Upper Peninsula and other wild places. She puts her skills to work as host of NPLSF’s Lake Superior Podcast, as the “voice” of the Upper Peninsula 200 dogsled race and countless other events, as a realtor focused on homes, recreational, and commercial property in Marquette County. She grew up in downstate Michigan near a Finnish community in Wixom but has spent her adult life on Lake Superior where she enjoys a wide variety of outdoor adventures in all seasons.
