Tom Woiwode created, developed and managed the nationally recognized GreenWays Initiative for the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. Prior to his  20+ year tenure at the foundation, he was the founder and executive director of The Nature Conservancy of Michigan and a vice president and officer of the international Nature Conservancy. He has been recognized nationally and regionally for his work on environmental issues, nonprofit leadership and conservation. An attorney, Woiwode was one of the founding board members of NPLSF, and has been a founder, director, board member, board chair and trustee of nonprofit organizations in Michigan and throughout the country.
